|Recommended: YesQuiet, friendly people — Quiet, friendly people. A lot of dogs as companions for the residents. No activities as of yet. Looking forward to when that starts. Grounds are maintained beautifully, maintenance workers are friendly and always say hello and are helpful.

The location is perfect, close to everything we love about San Diego. The apartment fits our needs, love the green spaces around us, grounds are beautiful and maintained with excellence. Also perfect for walking, the community around us is great for getting out. Beautiful pool and other amenities that make this so inviting. Office staff is accommodating and can’t help enough. Thank you Maria for your help in making our transition here so welcoming. You are doing a great job.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to rent — It's very quiet and the grounds and buildings are very well maintained. The leasing office and maintenance personnel are excellent. One never has to wait long for any maintenance issues. I was particularly impressed with the condition of my apt. upon move in. They provided new appliances, fixtures, countertops, and even replaced all the carpets and flooring. Despite the age of the buildings, they are all in very well maintained, and the grounds and landscaping are beautiful. All in all, a wonderful experience, compared to my last apt in another development.

|Recommended: YesExceedingly happy to be living at University City Village — The office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. There is always a prompt response to needs and repairs by both the office and the maintenance staff. I live in one of the newer units, which are solid, and well insulated, Regardless if it's cold or hot outside, it's always comfortable within my apartment. Best of all, I feel very safe living here at University City Village
|Recommended: YesPleasant and comfortable casita — The entire property is very clean and well maintained, and the on-site managers and staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. My 2 bedroom casita is comfortable, reasonably-sized and nicely laid-out, with a surprising amount of storage space and large windows that provide a good amount of natural light and adequate ventilation. It would have been nice had the building been laid out to permit cross-ventilation in each unit, but that's a minor niggle. The building is sufficiently well-insulated that I haven't yet needed either the air conditioner or the heater, and I rarely hear my neighbors. Having a reserved covered parking space is very helpful.

|Recommended: YesPeaceful, friendly place — The reason for my move here was traumatic for me but I have found peace. I really like my apartment and all the storage. I never hear my neighbors just occasionally some running water. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly and respond quickly to any requests. The exterior of the buildings need maintenance. I like the carport parking.

|Recommended: YesQuiet Living in San Diego — Quiet living in great community. Over 55 community with many active adults walking, jogging, swimming, and playing golf at an enjoyable 9 hole golf course nearby. Community is dog friendly and young children visiting grandparents are often seen adding a positive air. Unit is older but in great shape and maintained well by staff. Very happy with our decision to live in University City Village.
|Recommended: YesApt is great for me. Office staff are outstandingly pleasant and professional. — Currently is is a very quite community and nice amedities.
|Recommended: YesEverything was great until move out — Living there for 3 years we loved the community, great neighbors, but dealing with the property manager Maria left a bad last impression. Not only was she disrespectful and condescending once we decided to relocate, she was highly unethical by keeping a sizeable portion of our deposit. She can make all the excuses she wants but even though we left the rental spotless, she would not return our full deposit.
|Recommended: YesWe are very glad to be here So far it has been a wonderful experience. — Friendly neighbors. Quiet. We don't hear any of our neighbors from inside the apartment. Excellent response to help needed from maintenance and staff.
